The thermometer detects when not in use and then switches itself off so as not to waste the battery and the time setting for this function can be adjusted. It reads the temperature in just 1 second!

The thermometer is ideal for both solid foods and liquids thanks to the strong plug sensor that reads the temperature in just 1 second. The sensor is then easily folded in when not in use. The cover / shell is waterproof for easy cleaning and made of ABS plastic that has been treated with a "biomaster" to reduce bacterial growth, which results in safer and more hygienic use.
