This 300 kilogram micro lot is the third coffee from Kenya that we roast from this year's harvest. Kegwa AA is double washed to give it an elegant and juicy character.
In the taste of the coffee we find lively notes of black currant, dark berries, citrus and caramel; the aftertaste has a powerful smoothness. We roast the coffee lightly, so that all the complex flavors are brought out to the maximum.
Kegwa is located in the Kirinyaga region and here 2000 producers grow coffee on farms located at over 1600 meters altitude. The cooperative (FCS) was founded in 1997 and includes over 30% female producers.
