The La Rosa farm, located in the Antioquia region, is more than just a coffee farm - it's a lush haven for tropical fruits! In addition to coffee, the farm grows mangoes, oranges, papaya, guanábana, mangosteen, guava and much more. Of the farm's total 21 hectares, five hectares are dedicated to coffee cultivation, including the Castillo variety, which makes up this micro-lot.

The coffee cherries are picked at an altitude of 1400 meters when they are dark red and full of sugar. They are separated with water and then undergo a slow fermentation in closed barrels for 96 hours. After fermentation, the coffee is dried under controlled air circulation to ensure consistent quality. The result is a coffee with a rich sweetness and fruity undertones.
